Occupation Consultant in Actuarial and related services.  Runs own company (SRMS).
Marital status Married, 1 son at 'varsity and a daughter in the UK.
Rowing status Current rower, part of the all-conquering (occasionally)  Men's Masters crew.
Roles in rowing Umpire (gaining practical experience) course; providing moral support to the Secretary of Alfred Rowing Club, the Secretary of Western Cape Rowing, the master-in-charge of rowing at Bishops and the communication commission of RowSA, to all of whom he is married.
A little about... Richard is the webmaster responsible for designing this page and the web-site.  Debonair, dashing and impossibly good looking, his over-riding modesty prevents excessive exposure of his razor-sharp brain and unique ability to empathise with lesser mortals.  If you see him give him money or adoration, both of which he will receive graciously.  As author of this website he has unique control over what is said here, so be nice!
